EXALTING THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD’S HOUSE

BIBLE READING: MICAH 4:1-2; PSALM 84:7; MATTHEW 5:14-16

“Now it shall come to pass in the Latter Days that the Mountain of the Lord’s House shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.” Isaiah 2:2(NKJV)

The restoration of the Dominion Mandate was a major reason for the Incarnation or the First Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. As a result of the Fall, mankind was toppled from an exalted position as stated in the Bible: “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.” Rom. 3:23(NKJV) In other words, the Rightful Position of the Church is exactly where the Lord Jesus is situated: In the Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 2:6)

By virtue of the Resurrection of Jesus after His Passion, the Scripture declares the following: “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the Earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.” Phil. 2:9-11(NKJV) It’s impossible for a head to be exalted without its body. In other words, the Church or the Body of Christ was exalted with Him. This is one of the reasons the Scripture states that “as He is, so are we in this world.” 1Jn. 4:17b(NKJV)

We as the Church have been raised by the Lord as a Spiritual House (1Pet. 2:5), a House that is ordained by God to be exalted above every other mountain in existence. Because He is El Elyon, the Most High God, the Body of Christ can never be the most low. The Lord grant us insight regarding our position in Him.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for elevating us to the same lofty heights as Your Son. Please grant us a deeper revelation of this Reality in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
