FINANCIAL DOMINION

BIBLE READING: GENESIS 1:26-28; JOB 1:1-3; DEUTERONOMY 8:18; 3 JOHN 1:2

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.”2 Cor. 8:9-11(NKJV)

The Dominion Mandate God entrusted to man is all encompassing contrary to the myth that Financial Dominion is synonymous with sin. This myth has been discredited by the resume of Job who lived during the Old Testament as a contemporary of Moses:
“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. And seven sons and three daughters were born to him. Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.” Job 1:1-4(NKJV)
God also blessed Abraham the patriarch in all things as recorded in the Scriptures: “Abraham was now an old man. God had blessed Abraham in every way.” Gen. 24:1(NKJV) By His Birth, Death and Resurrection, Jesus handed over the Bundle of Rights Adam traded in the Garden of Eden back to man which enabled us to function as kings, priests and prophets, thereby making the transformed man a multifaceted showcase of the Glory of God. (1Tim. 6:17; Rev. 5:10; Ps. 8:6).

The Financial Covenant is the basis for Financial Dominion in the Kingdom of God. Entering a Financial Covenant with God moves you from Common Grace to an Uncommon Grace and Special Anointing as evidenced in the life of David and his son Solomon, who became the wealthiest and wisest king to ever live on the Earth. (1Kgs. 4:29-34). God is preparing the people into whose hands He can entrust His Kingdom Treasures and Special Anointing for His End-Time Move and for reaping the overripe Harvest of Souls. God is raising Covenant men that will carry His Glory and have Financial Dominion in these Last Days because the Frontiers of the Kingdom shall be extended through Prosperity. (Zech. 1:17).

The Trinity is on a Mission on the Earth and the financiers of His Mission have been empowered because He gives them the Power to create wealth. (Deut. 8:18). The people of God and the Mission of God are intertwined because the latter cannot be accomplished on Earth without yielded Vessels. The Fulfillment of God’s Mission using Financial Dominion as a tool is not a hit and run relationship but a Covenant-based Sacrificial Relationship. Jesus sacrificed His Life for the Mission, so we must be prepared to do the same willingly.

As a believer, you have been empowered to exercise Financial Dominion, but you must be mindful of the spirit of mammon, the god of gold which is the most stubborn amongst all the false deities. When you start trusting in material wealth, then you have moved into idolatry and have become a slave to uncertain riches. If God has started blessing you, then you must watch out for the love of money because it is the trap that goes with exercising Financial Dominion. A major antidote to this is to covenant never to forsake the Kingdom of God and actively contribute and passionately finance the Advancement of its Frontiers.

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You for giving me Financial Dominion on Earth. Lord, help me to embrace the Fullness of Your Grace, even in my exercise of this Dominion so that through prosperity, Your Kingdom’s Purposes will advance and blossom to the Glory of Your Holy Name. Amen.
