WISDOM IS PROFITABLE TO DIRECT
Hear, O children, the instruction of a father, and pay attention [and be willing to learn] so that you may gain understanding and intelligent discernment. For I give you good doctrine; Do not turn away from my instruction. When I was a son with my father (David), tender and the only son in the sight of my mother (Bathsheba), He taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live. “Get [skilful and godly] wisdom! Acquire understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Proverbs 4:1-5 (AMP).
When you find two enterprises in the same location dealing on the same products, and one is doing well while the other is not, there is something the owner of the prospering enterprise knows and is doing that the other is not. The more you know about what you are doing, the more likely you are to translate your knowledge into a competitive edge that will bring more earnings and ultimate success.
Prayer failure and wisdom failure are the two strongest roots of failure in life. You can acquire knowledge through formal processes like attending schools, courses, seminars and workshops. You can also acquire enormous knowledge through informal processes. Growth in wisdom, skills acquisition and development of human relationships are acquired mostly through informal education.
Revealing the source of his wisdom, Solomon wrote in Proverbs 4:3-5, “When I was a son with my father (David), tender and the only son in the sight of my mother (Bathsheba), He taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live. “Get [skillful and godly] wisdom! Acquire understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.” He also said in Proverbs 13:20, He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise but the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm.”
The greatest thing a successful person can give you is access. When you have such access, don’t make the mistake most people make by asking for money. Humble yourself and tap into the wisdom and secrets that made the great man and you too will soon be heading on the way to honour. It is the wisdom of God to engage the intangible that creates the wealth than ask for money. Don’t waste that opportunity by looking at the product; but let wisdom guide you in that choice. Value that access more than money. There are specific roles different people are assigned to play in our lives. If you go asking the wrong person for the right thing, you might lose that relationship.
The wisdom I need to succeed is hidden in men. Through humility and service, I will mine them.
Father, thank You for Your wisdom in my life which is profitable to guide and direct me. Thank You for the treasured relationships and the wisdom to nurture and grow them into tangible and durable assets.
