BIBLE READING: JOHN 17:21-23
“So if you’re serious about living this New Resurrection Life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ – that’s where the action is. See things from His Perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life – even though invisible to spectators – is with Christ in God. He is your life.” Colossians. 3:1-3(MSG).
From the Book of the Beginning, it is written that it is not good for a man to be alone – “God said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.” Genesis 2:18(NKJV) That is more than the Marriage Union because by nature man is meant to Walk and Commune with Him daily as evidenced by the life of Enoch – So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And [in reverent fear and obedience] Enoch walked with God; and he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him]. Genesis 5:23-24(AMP).
Christianity is not a belief system or a behavioral modification. It is Oneness with the Trinity! Put differently, Christianity is Oneness and Partnership with Divinity. This Oneness is powered by being conscious of the Ever Abiding Presence of the Trinity in and within us through the Holy Spirit – “You realize, don’t you, that you are the Temple of God, and God Himself is present in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16(MSG). When Jesus was on the Earth, He often reiterated the fact that He was from above (see John 8:23).
Despite the intended Oneness with Divinity in man’s Creation Manual, the Fall of man created a great bridge that not only separated him from God but also gave man the option of hiding from Him- “When they heard the sound of God strolling in the garden in the evening breeze, the Man and his Wife hid in the trees of the garden, hid from God. God called to the Man: “Where are you?” Genesis 3:8-9(MSG). The only Remedy for man’s restoration was the Cross, with the Vertical dimension restoring the Upreach possibilities of man’s Oneness with Divinity.
By virtue of the possibilities occasioned by the Cross, man became the Bride and Jesus the Bridegroom to restore the Koinonia which man lost in the Garden. The Upreach dimension of the Cross restored man’s unhindered access to God and the Throne Room upon fulfilling the Protocol of His Presence by the Agency of the Spirit – “Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving. And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His Name. Psalm 100:3-4(AMP)
Father, I thank You for Your Show of Love by which You made me for Your Pleasure and restored me even while I was yet in sin. I appreciate the Open Heavens and unhindered Access to You again which Jesus purchased by the Cross. I pledge to maximize this benefit of daily Fellowship and Communion with You in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
