BIBLE READING: MARK 11:23; PSALM 19:2-3
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:10(KJV)
As I highlighted in the previous devotional, our world today is becoming more sophisticated than ever. Thus, engaging the supernatural for a victorious Christian living is no longer a case for debate; it has become more than a necessity.
To live a day to day victorious Christian life, many battles are fought and they are largely spiritual. The Lord Jesus upon his ascension into Heaven relinquished His authority to the church for rulership on earth. This is the basis for the kingly and priestly ministry of believers.
As a Christian, to function optimally therefore, you must exercise your authority by engaging and deploying these prophetic tools for daily victories. Today, let’s look at two of these prophetic tools of dominion.
Prophetic words are supernatural tools backed by divine energy over a circumstance. They are words spoken under the anointing. Words released under the anointing are like bullets aimed and fired from a gun. Those words are not normal and they don’t miss their targets.
Life is a battle of words. When you lose the battle of words you lose the battle of life because death and life are controlled by the power of the tongue. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21). Your tongue orders the course of nature. It is more powerful than your muscles and your brain. So if you are confronted with life threatening circumstances, use your mouth and address it with the Word. Like a bullet and a gun, load God’s Words in you, then pull the trigger through your mouth and fire it at any challenge you are confronted with in your life. And it shall be done. (See Jeremiah 23:29).
It is interesting to know that as believers we can exercise our authority over nature and elements and they will obey. They are tools for your use. The wind as a tool of prophetic dominion is can be sent on assignments. You can speak to the wind to carry out specific assignments and it will obey. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. (Ezekiel 37:9).
There are four winds of Heaven and earth, and there are angels in charge of these winds. Each of these winds has assignments or different things they do and they have visible effects on earth when deployed. Most of the things that happen physically on earth are not normal. Majority are carried out by the operation of the wind. So a believer with the understanding of the use of prophetic words can speak to the winds and get them working for your good in alignment with divine dictate. (See Jeremiah 30:23-24; Jeremiah 51:1-5; Song of Solomon 4:16).
Heavenly Father, thank You again for yet another insight into all the resources you have made available for my dominion and rulership on earth. As I obey your mandate to reign on earth, let your Kingdom come that as it is in Heaven, so let it be on earth. Help me Lord to be a responsible ambassador of Your Kingdom and exercise Your authority on earth in Jesus name, Amen.
