BIBLE READING: PSALM 34:11-13
“They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. Isaiah 65:22 (NKJV).
In God, there is not just a promise of health and wealth; there is also the assurance of productivity and longevity. Long life is our family inheritance in God. The Psalmist said in Psalms 91:16 “With [a] long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” (NKJV).
Longevity is one of the many benefits and provisions of salvation. Even though the Bible encourages that the death of the righteous is precious in the eyes of the Lord, it also affirms and assures us that none of us will cast our young – “No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:26 (NKJV). That is double benefit: longevity here on earth and eternal life in the eternity beyond.
In Job 5:26 God promises that “You shall come to the grave at a full age, as a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.” (NKJV). So it’s God’s will for all of His children to live a full life. It’s not His will for our lives to be cut short in any way. Do not buy any lie from satan telling you that no one in your family gets to old age before dying. It does not matter if you have a terminal disease or not. Longevity is a divine promise and it’s yours, so claim that promise today, pronounce it over daily and see yourself enjoy long life coupled with prosperity.
I declare that long life is my portion. My life shall not be cut short in Jesus name.
I have been cut off from the wild olive tree and engrafted into Christ. I will see my children’s children in Jesus Name and I will be alive long enough to fulfil all the days heaven has written concerning me.
Go ahead and rejoice in this affirmation.
