BIBLE READING: MARK 11:22-25; LUKE 8:22-25; HEBREWS 10:35-36
For assuredly, I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23(NKJV)
Mountains signify obstacles along your path which could be anything; a delay, lack of creative ideas, lack of opportunities, a negative turn of events, a failed project, sickness, disease, lack of finances, etc. However, this is not the time when you dwell on the matter or murmur about it or even make it a topic to keep discussing. We have been told to speak to the mountain and not about the mountain.
Whenever you speak about your mountain, it magnifies in your eyes and makes the situation more difficult but when you load yourself with the Word of God and speak to that mountain, the mountain gives way, it moves, it shrinks, it will be obliterated and conform to the Word of God.
Some mountains may be large or small, some temporary while some may seem permanent, tending to be around for a long time and seemingly intimidating. No matter the size or the duration, we have been given the key to conquer it.
Never face your mountain with your mouth shut, you tell the mountain what to do. Armed with God’s Word concerning that situation declare God’s Word by faith and that mountain must obey. The devil always tries to get you to stop talking right because he knows that your words are the exact missiles needed to destroy the mountain (Prov. 18:21).
As long as your words are synchronised with God’s Word, you will have what you say. Remember, you must have faith in God and when you speak, do not doubt in your heart. 2 Cor.4:13(KJV); We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
Find out what God’s Word says about that problem and begin to replace every negative word with what God’s Word says about that matter.
