Key Scripture: MATTHEW 14:22-32; HEBREWS 12:1-2
The light of the body is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. – Matthew 6:22.
The subject of focus is always magnified in the eyes of the beholder. What you focus on is what you see and what you see enters into your heart out of which issues of life proceed according to the Scriptures.
When Peter was about to walk on water, he saw Jesus doing it already and faith arose in him and at the prompting of Christ he did same until he took his eyes off Christ and started looking at the waves of the sea. The entrance of God into your situation does not signify the immediate disappearance of all your troubles. We have the choice always to choose whether we want to focus on what God is doing or what the enemy is doing.
Hebrews 12:2 compels us to keep our focus on Christ the author and the finisher of our faith. A lot of Christians spend time meditating, talking about or focusing on what Satan is doing around them. Joshua and Caleb refused to focus on the giants but on God’s promise which is never changing (Numbers 14:6-9). The key to sustaining your miracle is keeping your gaze on God.
Nobody goes forward in life by looking backwards or sideways. To move forward you must keep your eyes forward. The Psalmist said, “I will lift up mine eyes to the hills…” Keep your gaze on Jesus and you will not sink. Glory!
•Lord, I refuse to see anything the enemy is doing around my life. I choose to magnify what You are doing Lord.
•Give God thanks for the things He has begun in your life.
